that shroom looks like its splitting to me

The mushroom is about an inch and the creature is the size of a medium hermit crab. In the 4th photo in my first post you can see the feeder come out. It is growing on a dead hammer coral. It is moving around and it looks like the mushroom split or in the middle of splitting. This if from a few days ago.

I took it out of the tank to get some pictures. Either the mushroom was holding the object tight or the other way around.

Looks like as the mushroom is splitting it's exposing a rock it was attached to.
