i have and adult blue face angel and an adult Majestic angel...
I have all types of hammers, frogs, torches, mushrooms, carpet net, bubble nems, some sps, Nepthea, elegance coral, Lobo, plate coral, and a few other things here and there...
My angels will pick at certain things here and there but what i learned is keep them well fed and they will leave your corals alone for the most part.
For instance, I have blast that i have had for over a year with no issue until 1 day my auto
feeder got clogged while i was at work... Well they went on on my 2 small blast colonies...
I have had this happen to a red lobo also but they never ever touch my green lobo, not sure if the color has anything to do with it. My plate gets nipped on rarely but again, it depends on food in the tank. Blasto and plate still thriving and other corals are fine.
I have also been told to be careful as angels can tear up a carpet nem as well.. Never seen that happen here...
Keep them fed and thats all i do..
I have had my angels for about 3 years now always with corals. At some point i even had giant clams and they never touched them... In fact it was my powder blue that destroyed my Goni and I saw it nipping my clam as well... Off she went...
