Why don't we have a good Magazine like...

I was checking a magazine called Marine Habit and it looked so full of information. Photos and articles were so much to do with reef hobby. Why we only have coral magazine which is good but not as information as Marine Habit. Plus Coral seems to have same article year after year and not going that extra mile as Marine Habit.

While I am sure that you can read about all of the latest technical advances in the hobby :lol2:, and all of the hundreds of new species that were captured :lol2:. You can probably get your information fix online prior to any magazines that are printed.
Social media gets the information out to quicker than any other media.

I read about bad happenings on FB before I watch it on the news... Go figure.

I think you're not right. I read every number of Coral Magazine and you just can't find that kind of articles on the net. Printed magazines are still a staple in the hobby and getting published in one is a reason to be proud for the author. Aquarium hobby literature are not just latest news and product announcements/adds.

piranhapat , I agree that Marine Habitat is by far the best reef magazine out there and I hope we see it in US soil one day. The thing is reef hobby is more popular in Europe than here and they have market for more than one quality magazines.

The answer is that a certain company has bought up all of the remaining print magazines and gradually put them out of business.
