I also got in a large Regal Angel put it in one of my 180 gallon reef tank thats full of softies and mushrooms waiting to see if he eats. Pratreef had him and he stated eating his lobophylia so he's not reef safe

I have seen the regal and it is very gorgeous. Vibrant blue and yellow. Great for a FO or maybe an SPS (don't know if I would chance it though)?

Just wanted to say that I went to the shop today to drop off the Regal and dumb-lucked my way into the unpacking of a large shipment. There is ALOT of really nice stuff for all tastes. Anyone who makes it there tomorrow should have some very difficult choices to make

For those who haven't been to the store recently, it is looking really good. Nice job guys.

BTW, the Regal is big, fat and beautiful, but fortunately also a bit dumb.

Is that regal for sale? how big is it?

Roughly 6-7". He is a beast. It is supposedly from the Solomons. I can't be sure though. It is definately not Red Sea, but the chest is a greyish color I have not seen, not the usual blue of the problematic Pacific species, so it may very well be from an atypical locale. I only had it for 48 hrs. before it decided to turn my prized red lobo into an entree, so it has not been weened to prepared foods yet. I do think he is very healthy and given his appetite and functioning digestive tract he probably will do well in the right hands ... like yours. I 'd be very happy if you could work something out with Sean.

The regal will be for sale once I see him eating and I know he's healthy. Lets give him at least a week before I offer him for sale.
He's a big boy and looks great.

Randy-I'm on my way to the shop now so I haven't seen the big boy today yet. Yesterday he was hiding a bit a little shy but he was active and moving around (didn't try feeding him yet).

GQ- thanks I realy like the zoo's a lot as well nice colors they were all open at the end of the day as well (good sign). The frags I got in are nice as well sorry you didn't get to see them out of the bag.
