They will be fragged to order for $12/polyp.

EDIT: The sinularia and yellow pagoda cup corals are now removed from this thread. I was not as educated a buyer as I should have been when I picked them up. After reading a bit more about these practices I will be nursing them back to health and letting them grow out with their natural colors. A reef conscientious supplier is important to the hobby. Apologies to all. I will not be carrying coral collected and treated like this in the future (at least not knowingly). Thanks for all the great links and understanding.

I would recommend you delete the sinularia and pagoda cup from the rics ont thread and allow them to grow out/get healthy - if in fact they are truly died, that will change and they will be plain ol' sinularias and pagodas - if not, repost them for sale and say "told ya so "

Russ what lights are they under, that could be a determining factor in the color as they appear here. Different K and Actinic combo's could be a factor as well as MH T5 or PC lights!

True, but highly unlikely. Russ even stated "These pix are TRUE TO LIFE."

An excerpt from the above article:

"Turbinaria peltata at Left, dyed yellow and Center, blotchy dye-fading and recovering natural color, and at Right, a natural color of the “Cup” coral. Natural colors include variations of solid or combined brown, gray, tan and green… but never such bright yellow. There are naturally occurring bright yellow Turbinaria in other species for which this animal may be mistaken. However, a cursory exam by even laymen can distinguish most every T. peltata from any other popular species in this genus by the presence of large sparse polyps on the corallum in contrast to the generally tiny polyps of other yellow Turbinaria."
