Ronen, you should advise people that unless they have an EXTREMELY large system that they should only be ordering the smallest container. Overfeeding Phyto is sure to cause algae blooms, and it has an expiration date that is normally only about 3 months out.

I found myself dumping out 3/4 full bottles (small bottles no less) because I couldn't use them up. It is unbelievably important to NOT overfeed this phytofeast. It is live cultures and they will cause blooms.

may be you could break up the bottles into smaller sizes to prevent wasting the phyto when expiration comes around. just my two cents.

True, but it's just too easy to overfeed Phyto. It's not like frozen, flake or pellet food. It is live and a liquid. Too darn easy to just pour it in and walk away. You can't follow the 2 - 3 minute gone rule because it dissipates in the water and looks like it's gone right away.

Now with all this said and agreed upon, PhytoFeast is a great product. It's just unbelievably potent. SO USE SPARINGLY. Otherwise we're gonna call this the MRHAC (Manhattan Reef Hair Algae Club) :afro:

I've used Phyto for a long time, only once or twice a week is necessary. And each of those feedings should be no more than about 1 ML per 50 gallons. (I use a spare Salifert eyedropper......premeasured to 1 ML).

I've never measured the amount of drops in 1 ML, but I'd say there are less than 50. You can use your measurement, I know of too many people that overused it. Better to underuse it than to overdose it.
