Tank raised Mandarin

I'm looking to buy a Mandarin that is tank raised and eats frozen or dried foods. Will pay any reasonable price

that is almost true.I have got a spotted ora mandarin from a vendor on here and had some difficulty in the beginning. He never ate any prepared foods such as mysis, cyclopeeze, spectrum small pellets, or formula one small pellets, and prime reef flakes. He did however hunt for the pods in my tank

The only food he ate was nutrimar ova. I had to create a feeding station so the other fish didn't bully him for the nutrimar ova since he was such a slow eater. I have gave him to my friend who has a larger tank as i an purchasing the blue mandarin soon

We can eliminate the wrong food issue by asking ORA what they feed them with and use the same food they use so that we can focus on how to acclimate, handle and QT them .....

I as just at absolutely yesterday and they do not have ORA tanks raised mandarins! I spoke to guy who orders and they don't have them and were not planning on getting them I was told!!

They feed them nutrimar ova and they also said the eat spectrum small pellets ...most people have sucvess with nutrimar ova

My ORA mandarin is a great eater. It took him a few days to adjust to a new tank full of sand, fish, and live rock, but once he settled in everything was good. He mostly feeds in one corner of the tank where the flow carries the food. Ocasionally, I see him searching in that corner so I drop a pea sized piece of ova in for him. Otherwise he eats small spectrum pellets twice daily and a variety of frozen foods twice daily. I randomly use chopped up bloodworms, daphnia, cyclopeeze, and ova. 4-times daily seems like a lot but he eats such small amounts at each feeding.

Everyone thinks they eat mysis for some reason, but I couldn't find it in their list of foods on ORA's website. When I feed mysis for my other fish my mandarin isn't interested. Probably too big.
