For some odd reason all the pet stores in Manhattan seem to be out of clownfish.

It will be my first purchase of saltwater fish - ever. But for three weeks now... can't seem to get them in stock.

I've been going to Pacific Aquarium on Delancy and Manhattan Aquarium on W 37. No luck.

SO I have the question to all you hobbyist (who are so much further down the road in this hobby than I) - where can I get two of these fish? Would someone here be willing to sell me any overstocked clowns in their tank?

The smaller the better - I only have a 55 gal tank.

Thanks so much,

You may want to think about your fish stock list first. If there are any timid fish you may want to add them first. Pairs of clowns can be aggressive and any advantage you can give other less aggressive species the better. A few weeks head start establishing themselves and their territory before the clowns show up would be pretty beneficial. IMO at least.
