i dont know i was thinking i would like to get a good mix of sizes so that it will be as natural as possible within the system.. thinking if i can get my hands of som started cultures and put them into a 10g with some phyto water to see if i can get a thicker population before adding to my system, figure it would be better if i did that than just dump the starter population right into the tank. thinking that the thicker population would have a better chance of susrvival and growth than the smaller one..

I may be able to make a blend with 2 types of Algagen Pods I just bought and 1 portion of roti from a member here. Instead of paying for 3 cultures, you pay one price to get all three types. If you don't have green water, I have some to start you with but I have only one last culture to share. You can consider getting the phyto paste that you can keep refrigerated for like 60 days.

what would you want for a starter culture? i have green water..

manhattan aquariums and Fauna carry tigger pods. You can culture them with phytoplankton, a small tank, and an air stone. heres a link http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2003/2/breeder. I am trying to culture some pods, my tanks was full of them now it seems devoid of.

On going rate per culture of one type is around $20-$25

How about I make you a mix of two and collect only $20, pick up in the swap. I am not very precise to the mix though just to let you know in advance. I will just shake shake shake and pour them in a bottle.
