Aiptasia

I need an aptasia eating something. Got peppermints and they are not doing a thing. I was thinking of a filefish.

it depends on the individual pepperment. also try not feeding for a while, if they're starved a bit, they will start scavenging and eating whatever they can find

well, dont stop feeding them....just at longer intervals

No fish in the tank yet, so there is very minimal feeding.

I bought the tank, with a lot of mushrooms and kenya trees, hammers, candy cane. The candy cane and the hammers I put in my 46 bow that soon I want to move into the 180. And I left the mushrooms and the Kenya trees in there. So there are some corals, but not many.

Well then you dont want a filefish because they are not reef-safe.

No, dude it will eat the corals first in probably less then a couple hours! What you want to do is use "AiptasiaX" it is the best thing you can use and it is super cheap. The best part is once you use it the aiptasia will NEVER come back as if you get a filefish it would just keep on coming back. It looks like a syringe. You have to put it near the spot of aiptasia and just realease the chemicals and it does not harm the other livestock in the tank. It kills them immediatly!
