I am on the market for the following items, if you have them for sale let me know and please include price:
Mud
Chateo
Snails
dwarf crabs
sifting star fish
urchin
small nano fish
Shrimp
Supplies such as reef salt, frozen food
bright frags or small corals such as neon frog?s pawn or anything orange, blue, bright green, yellow (already have many neutral colors, I want a few pieces that add contrast to what I have)
I know where to buy all these items but I am trying MR first, maybe there is someone that happens to have something they want to sell and this is next on my list. Looking to go shopping this weekend or pick up this weekend.
Feel free to call or text me for faster reply 973-432-4860.

Thanks for the reply. I already became a customer of Bulk Reef Supply as a result of a group buy advertised here.

I am hoping to get this stuff this weekend and at a better price than stores.

Just out of curiosity, since you mention vendors. Which vendor do you recommend for corals, reef safe fish, inverts?

they mud, food and dry goods I can manage one way or another....

Thank you all for your calls and the few PM's. I was looking more for prices from a hobbyist to another hobbyist. I am very glad to see that so many have setup businesses.

When I sell something i dont need or longer want I usually sell it at a used dont need it price, that's what I was looking for. North Carolina sifters for a dollar a piece is not my idea of a deal when can get 500 for about $32.00 or $15 for a ricordia polip when I can get bright orange for $8 to $12....

I did receive a couple of responses that I am going to follow up on, I just wanted to share that there is setting up a business and there is taking advantage of fellow hobbyist....turning $32.00 worth of snails into $500 is not nice business.....

Appreciate the offers and I will be in touch with the honest folks.

I will look him up, can't get closer than Clifton.

I wanted to visit him, I thought he was getting out of the hobby but I hesitated last week, it snowed and did not want to go bother him at home.

If I still have his number, I will call him.

What did you mean by "north Carolina sifters"? I'd your talking about the nassarius snails collected off the coast there, DONT BUY THEM! They are not built to withstand the constant 80? temps that we try to keep or reefs at. There's an article about them on reefkeeping.com that explains it. Here's the link http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2006-11/mg/index.php. Oh btw, Welcome to MR!

As a result of this thread I visited 5 ppl from MR, some vendors...walked out with stuff from each...

Opinion...I hate negotiating, if I am lured in with cheap frags I expect some to be available and not the runts of the litter...standard popular inexpensive frags...

Will return to some, will not to others...

I dont want to bash anyone...

My experience is that there is some reasonable home businesses and there is a guy or two luring in people with stuff they dont have, once you get there everything is at local store prices and that's just not right, if you are going to do it out of your garage and advertise awesome prices and compete with the LFS make it worth my trip, don't assume I am a newbie and don't take advantage of the newbies.

Like I said...there is a couple I liked and when the call me and tell me they have what I want I will be going back.

Thanks for the site for inverts, they do run cheap there, got to check the shipping cost.

Leaving feedback helps others also cleanup crew I find is cheapest from reefcleaners.org
