Add an aqualifter pump or powerhead and your all set. Fantastic controller and easy setup.

Russ is a great guy to deal with a his place isn't that far from Queens so pick up is a possibility.

Your right you could but you would still need to add the pump. They both offer the exact same features for the exact same price. I'm not seeing your point? They are both great T.O. options. I mentioned the RF as it is as good a unit as the JBJ, same price and could be picked up from Russ. A 30 minute drive if that.

Wouldnt you have to add the pump for the first ato also? The jbj is better mainly because of quality and better safeguard features...I ve tried many of these diy and lower quality ato s and finally decided to stick with the jbj. Super reliable, never had a problem.

Yes the Reef Fanatic also needs a pump. Twin floats, dual switchable modes, pump protection, dedicated outlet. I'm not seeing how the JBJ is offering anything better. As far as DIY I never mentioned any. As I said they are both very good units w exactly the same features and reliability. Just trying to understand what makes the JBj better other than an opinion. Both will work fine and accomplish the same job.
