Im currenty putting a 57 Gallon system together and this will be my RO/DI bucket water set up. I have small two bedroom apartment that I live in with wife and kids and do not have much room for anything.

1 10 gallon brute trash cans for RO/DI water.
1 10 gallon brute trash can for mixing salt when I do my water changes.
1 5 gallon clear plastic water carrier for ATO. This will be placed next to my sump inside the stand. I will most likely be filling my 5 gallon water container every two or three days.

Hey how much did you get the brute trash cans for did they come with the top aslo? I might still your idea on how you have everything set up lol

It's easy to play around with all kinds of thoughts and ideas when the sump is in the basement and all kinds of room. Now getting things by the wife without her asking questions and how much things were is another story.:argue:

Elaborate....

How big is your overall system? If you have a 10 gallon display and use a 20 gallon ato reservoir, if the ato gets stuck in the on position, you're looking at a flood. If you have a 50 gallon display, it'd be able to absorb the impact of a stuck ato a little bit better and to allow you that extra time to notice it filling too much. Hope this makes sense.
