Powdercoating is a little on the expensive side. They have to strip it completely to bare metal, hang the item from a rack, electrically charge it, spray it with the powdercoat(very fine spray of a type of plastic) and then bake it.


These guys were the guys I used for all of my powdercoating and polishing with all of my motorcycles when I rode for those years. They were the best of all aspects-fairly priced, super quick turn around and probably the best results I've seen.
