Guys,
I have a tilapia Buttikoferi, and one thing this fish does best is eating anything and everything it sees. With that said, I'd like to try re-introducing plants to my tank, but at a very low cost (since I doubt they'll last long). Can anyone spare anything? - I'll give some cash to you for them to compensate your travel to the city to meet me around GCT during the week.
My Tank situation:
Substrate: thick layer of flourite covered by small grain "nutmeg" gravel.
Light: 3-tube 36" fluorescent (more than enough)/specs unknown, can replace.
Water parameters: unknown, but plenty of algae will grow on the glass with time.

Plants I would like to try:
Bot: Hygrophila porto velho
Top: duckweed
Bac: egeria najas
Shinnersia rivularis
Hygrophila porto velho
Glosso
Any other fast growing plants?

Instead of trying to grow food faster thatn your piggy will eat it, why not make your own. You can quickly steam to soften some spinach, or other leafy greens and offer it via veggie clip like you would nori. Or just try some of the frozen vegetable foods.
