Appreciate the quick responses, spoke to the gentleman at Aquarium village will be stopping by there tomorrow to ask a few questions and hopefully order one. He said he can have one by Thursday if I order and leave deposit. Does anyone on here own a Haddon's Carpet?

One other question, just seeing others opinion. I have a T5 lighting fxture. It is 4 blulbs by 24 watts each bulb. It currently has 2 Blue Antic bulbs and 2 10,000k bulbs. Both blue bulbs and both 10k bulbs have there own switch so I am able to turn blues on in morning, then 10k shortly after, then only blues at night before shutting all lights off. Appreciate all input.

Tank is 30 gallon with 40+ lbs of live rock, 3 inch live sand bed. Light is in previous post. Only have 2 clowns, 10 hermits and 5 snails. Have 2 bio wheel 200's with only bio wheels in them,1 Rio600 in back wall corner half way down, 1 zoo med power sweep wavemaker 600, and 1 Aqueon 100 watt submersible heater on back tank wall horizontal 2 iches up from sand bed. Tanks has been up and running for 3 months. Test results every 2 days:
salintity:1.024
ammonia:0
nitrites:0
Nitrates 0 (controlled by weekly 3 gallon water changes)
Calcium:400
alkalinity:8
Will post pictures....

You're definitely going to want better filtration. Sump/refugium, protein skimmer? Also better waterflow, maybe some koralia power heads. I'm not an expert but I would wait until you get some better equipment before you get a difficult anemone. I would start off with simple corals to test your tank. Also what is your phosphate at? What testing kits are you using? If its api? I would upgrade to something better and more accurate.

What's so bad about the API test kits? What would be more accurate? I find them all about the same. You test for consistency not just accuracy.

To the OP, I would stay away from a difficult anemone like that. First off those things get huge and will take over your 30gallon. Second the tanks only 3 months old and though its hard to explain, your tank is still very "young" and it doesn't have established algae and bacteria to support sensitive corals yet. "Some" say this could take up to a year. Lastly, I agree that you would want to upgrade your filtration to do this.

Haddoni Carpet

Only place to buy the best quality haddoni carpet anemone is from ibluewater.com.

He has the finest Haddoni I have ever seen. Show pieces. Never seen anything close to what ibluewater sells in any fish store.

If u get the carpet, you would have to up ur water changes because they produce a lot of waste. Lighting should be ok. And place it on the sand bed and shut off ur powerhead for a little until it attaches. But it's better to wait a little, and get a hob skimmer.
