Yes, it's for my skimmer. I left the skimmer off overnight in the sump by accident and now it won't turn on. No, I haven't tried changing the pinwheel impeller.

Take the pump apart and clean it if you have not already done so.

Otherwise plug in he pump and help it to get started with your finger.

I cleaned it and also tried banging it while plugged in lol.

Anyone know where i can get this impeller, locally? When I remove the rubber stops on it, the impeller spins, seems like something is too tight?

Maybe the magnet swelled. I used to have to blow into the tube to get mine started. It was the mesh wheel being worn.
Since I changed to a pinwheel. No more issues.
Ill check at home if I have an extra mesh wheel impeller for u.

Thanks! I've tried blowing in the tube and it didn't work. Everything is taking a vinegar bath now.
