The nudi you seek is not an over night solution. You need to buy multiples and learn how to ensure their survival or you will lose your money.
If you just found aptasia, there is no need to panic, annoying but they don't kill things over night nor will they walk away with your tank while you are asleep.
Consider, peppermint shrimp, file fish or butterfly fish, which ever of the 3 that your setup can accommodate.
I'm following this thread because I found some in my tank too. I started by purchasing (4) peppermint shrimp for a 120g tank. I can't be certain but I think my SL Wrasse took out a few. Luckily I saw one PS this morning when I was feeding the fish. I'm going to wait a few weeks to see what happens.
My peppermint is always by my frag rack that's why on back of my mind..lol..in fact just checked and he's on it right..i havent noticed damage yet these are frags that were almost dead from friends tank and have probably 75 percent recovered so don't want to lose ro a shrimp. Keep the thread updated as things occurs. I'm not sure if should get another one considering the situation...with this one.. going to max reef see if they have any nudi branch and ither places from what I've read it's safest bet..
Ok so haven't found locally the nudi branch. But did find peppermint shrimp. So I bought one more the plan is to put in my sump Where I see some aiptasia.. he will have to eat because no food in sump..does he eat the macro algae??? Chateo inside..
Anyway hopefully starts to eat the aiptasia and then just move him to main display...sounds like a plan..
