This is a quote from my thread....."As far as the nudis, I have only pulled one out from my DT it was a nice sized one on a colony that has had nothing disappear but since then I haven't seen one. From my 34 gallon I know I have a nudi problem I have pulled out maybe 15 of them big and small. But NOTHING in that tank seems to be disappearing at all. So just now I took all my zoos out of my DT (120) and put them in my 34. Fingers crossed they don't get eaten in there. I'm going to buy some more dip tomorrow and dip them all again." All the zoos moved from my 120 have been in my 34 for 3 days now and have lost NOT ONT polyp. The colony's I am trying to sell are in my 34 where yes I have pulled nudis out of but since seeing them my corals have been dipped twice Even tho NOTHING has been disappearing with them in there.
Yes I am fairly new to the hobby! Maybe about a year now I have been reefing. And up until the MR frag swap in BK a few weeks ago every single thing in my tank was thriving and growing non stop!
DK638 Your comments have nothing to do with me being new to the hobby it was more of an assumption about my ethics and you just wanting to be a ****. as if I was trying to sell off some nudi infested colony's and that is not the case. The colony's I am trying to sell were the first corals I purchased when my tank was ready and have done nothing but grow since I bought them. Only reason I'm selling them is I have 3 colony's of the same polyps and I would like to make room and move on to more expensive polyps as I am now comfortable with maintaining my water quality.
I personally ruled out nudis as my problem as I haven't seen one on any of the polyps I have lost and the frag plugs are wiped clean of all
glue and even the little rock glued on to the frag plug .
MAYBE you were just trying to help out a fellow reefer and inform him of my situation because you thought I was some sort of scumbag and wouldn't tell him myself because I'm new to the hobby.? I personally think you were just trying to be an *******. I guess you think your some sort of saltwater god and all you do is right but the funny thing is I haven't heard your name before. I may be new but one thing I know is how expensive this hobby is and would never want to put anyone in the situation I am in as it is very costly and even more depressing. Maybe you should gather some more info next time before you insult and try to play some one out. Please do me a favor and keep my username out of your mouth until you have actually met me. Thank you in a advanced!
My colony's are still for sale and have been dipped twice over the past 2 weeks for nudis even tho nothing has gone missing on them. I have pictures of them in different lighting and from when I first got them. My door is always open for someone to come see what I have or even just to talk and BS about reefing as I'm always interested in learning from people with more experience.
