Yes they will. I have one in my sump you can have for free. From what I'm told you just chop off one of their legs and feed it to the shrimp. They grow it back.

CC lasts my shrimp about a month. I haven't experienced any havoc since as soon as I put the CC in the shrimp comes out from wherever she is and proceeds to eat its feet and then drag it into a cave. Next month same deal
