+1 on the hair algae.. and if you have a vortech with a lot of flow it's only a matter of time before it gets stuck on it...

I was looking for them to add something different to to tank but didn't want to spend $30 to ship them. If they ate hair algae it would be a bonus

Their lifespan is usually less than a year, so unless you're getting a baby, it will probably only last a few months
