I am looking for a harlequin tusk. It doesn't matter if its from the indo or australia. If anyone has one that they are looking to get rid of or has seen one in any lfs please let me know. And if you can could you please let me know the size and price or in any vendors are able to order this fish please let me know the price and size. thank you

One of my favorites, had it when I first setup my current tank. I had the indo. Had to sell as it was getting big and hungry

Where did you get yours? Doing a little research and they say there cheaper during the summer months? Someone said they had some at some petco/petland in the city somewhere for cheap. I think it's the same place there selling medium purple tangs for $85-$95

i got mine from a 'thereefcorner' in saddle brook resident based guy on craigslilst his name is ed. I think i paid 80 for it, fully qt'd. when i bought it was 4-5"

His CL ad says that he QTs it for 1 week...that is the same as no QT!

Furthermore, I quarantine everything that I sell for 7 days.

Quarantine is just the isolation of a organism to prevent disease. Depending on what he is trying to prevent the process can be a few days up to a few months. If something is considered quarantined or not has no relationship to time.

Some people determine that 1 week is good enough and some people think 4 months is good enough.
