Nope not at all he was very shy for the first 2 days hiding for the most part he is the only fish in the tank so aggression I wouldn't know now he must have gotten more comfortable with his surroundings and has since been grazing all over the tank. A big reason why I bought him was because he was at AqOb since 6/23. Not picked up right away fat and healthy at store is a plus plus in my book. Goodluck with yours

Well I haven't gotten mine yet and to be honest I'm not holding my breath. They say they have them but just my luck when I go tomorrow morning they will be gone watch. If there not gone trust and beleive there gonna charge me the highest price of 119 not the 99

I didn't get my chevron today. Truly disappointed but it was to be expected.
They(aquarium village) had 1 left at around 3:30. I would if you give someone a price of $99-$119 you have more than 1. I was assuming this when they gave a price. Well they had 1 left. He was so so tiny. Very cute if that's your thing. He was the size of a quarter if that. Unfortunately he would be no good in my tank of 240 gallons with the big boys. He might be a snack. Was looking forward to getting mine today so I could share my experiences but it is what it is. They say they will have some more Thursday and I hope so. I need mine to be at least a inch for the prices that was quoted. If I could get 1 bigger that would be awesome but since I've only been there 4 times I'm not a regular customer so I don't expect to be treated like one.
On another note max reefs has these coming in soon. Price I was quoted was $85. I'm not gonna hold my breath or wait. Whoever gets them in first is where I am going. Both places have shipments coming in Thursday so we will see. Hopefully the next time I wrote on this thread I will have my tiger.

When I bought mine from max reef it was about 3 1/2 inch for $79 and that was 6 months ago and it was the last one left and they held it for me..by no means am I saying where to buy it or who is better just passing the note of my experience as I was in your shoes looking high and low (took me almost a year to find one) unfortunately I gave him to my brother cause I lost most of my fish due to ich..

Completely understood. I am going with whoever has them first. Secondly size. Third price. Max reefs is way closer to me but I have no problem traveling as everyone I have bought corals and fish from know. I also like aquarium village. They had a wide selection and there prices were very comparable to max reefs beleive it or not. Like all lfs everyone has things/fish different. Aquarium village has a great selection of dry goods and foods. Something max doesn't have. So it goes both ways. Pop corals has the nicest corals around. Manhattan aquariums has the hard to find corals and fish as well as the craziest prices. But back to topic. If I could find one for that size and price I would be happy.
Since there was such a great response from the community anyone know where to get a regal angel? Red Sea or Indian. Doesn't matter eventhough there is quite a difference in price.

I got you. That shouldn't be a problem. There are some people I know that go to these fish warehouses. I will ask them to keep there eye and ear open.

And I got my Red Sea regal angel. Pretty little guy. Eating already amd everything. Hasn't touched a coral yet. Knocks on wood

They said they should be getting them in soon. I am impatient. Don't feel like waiting if the owner said last week he would be getting some more in on Thursday. I have to come to the city this weekend so I would just like to grab up everything I need and want in at 1 time instead of having to take multiple visits

 

[Aquarium Village]

The shipments from the Mauritius Islands, Marshall Islands, Australia and many other parts of the world are quite unpredictable right now. There are many storms circling around and exact ship dates are not available. We are told that Marshal Islands is scheduled for next week and that is where the Chevrons are coming from. We are getting Philippines today, in spite of the weather there. We will post when we get them in or everyone to see.
