Hello everyone. A couple of weeks ago, I nuked my tank to eradicate ich. I move the fish into quarantine, and overnight my ammonia level spiked, even after not feeding any. I lost all the fish, before they had a chance to go back into the main display.
I am currently cycling the main tank, about 3 weeks in, just waiting on Nitrites to come down. The ich is for sure gone, I used bleached through all of my equipment, sand, rock etc.
Having had a bad experience with ich, I want to try to adopt fish that have grown to large for their aquariums. I will know they have been in captivity for at least some time, and my tank will be plenty big enough for some of the fish that may have outgrown your tank.
If any of you have fish you are looking to rehome due to size, please let me know.
