Im looking for this SPS but I dont want a whole colony because 1 store I went into has it without the green base and another is green base but both are called same name? Maybe a frag of each?

Are you looking for wild SSC or the original. Most LFS call is the ssc but yet are just wild pieces

I dont know the difference... One place had it coming out of a round rock like a Christmas tree and that was red and green, lol thats funny now that I type it,, and the other was not green and simlpy laying on top of the eggcrate. Both places used Ecotech lights on mostly blue.

Almost all acros with the green/pink color combo are called ssc even though there are actually multiple species out there. I think there are up to 3 different acro species which can be called ssc. So not all are the same, pick the best looking one to you.
