wanted asap!! a light to fit over a 56 rimless tank

You sure it's the light. Monti don't really need a lot of light. Plus buying a cheap light as a stop gate doesn't sound like a good idea. Cheap light is cheap for a reason just my 2 cents

Yeah the monti is all the way on the bottom, there is only a few rocks left in the tank so i cant even bring it up higher. Everything else in the tank that does not need strong light is doing fine, i ment cheap like an old t5 setup that looks crapy or a led fixture that has a bulb out or 2, im not keeping it there for long

That looks just like my marineland light on my freshwater setup. Im going for the t5s since i dont pay the electric bill where tank is anyway lol

for a freshwater set up the wavelength should be more around 6500k. For marine 10,000, and 450n works. Don't you have t5s on your redsea tank set up?

Yeah thats not the problem tank, i have another tank im breaking down slowly to be a fish only and stupidly i sold the lights and the liverock. I have more sand if your interisted

you can have it. The first number on the timer went blank but it still functions. Ordered a new timer that is still in the box for $20. You can also run it without a timer by turning it on\off manually.
