Wtb large acrylic sump

Looking to upgrade my 60 gallon sump. Need something that holds more water so I can open my pump all the way.

Sounds more like a drain problem than a sump volume problem...

Or a pump problem lol get a weaker pump the one you have is obviously too strong if you can't open the valve all the way. You don't want to restrict your pump.

I have a hammerhead in the in the basement. I have it opened about 20 percent. If I open it more the sump drains to fast, if I put more water to compensate the sump overflows when the pump is turned off

Not much pressure coming out of the returns at the moment

Current plumbing, 2-1.5 inch drains. 1.5 inch return that splits into 2 1 inch returns by the main display

there is no problem restricting reeflo pumps. they actually use less electricity when restricted

Thanks for the info gentlemen. I ripped out one of the chambers and drilled syphon holes on the returns. Pump is now opened around 30 percent. Good enough for me.
