I don't have a lifereef but I have a reef octopus HOB skimmer used for 4 months. I will let it go for 115. Pm me if interested. It is the classic 1000

Lifereef is one of the best of old school skimmer and works wonderful yet simple to operate, the only drawback is they require a lot of space.
I still have mine running on sedra pump, recently had to change the impeller.
Saw one the other day for Lifereef skimmer on craigslist for under $130 (IIRC) worth it as the new sedra pump itself cost about the same.
