Just curios, why you need controller ?
I got few, they break down, i give up, i have PH monitor ( Battery) and probe from BRS works great.
OK.
I do the same think ( Keep PH up) in dif. way.
#1 i Use intake air for Protein Skimmer direct from fresh air Outside ( 430 ppm CO2 compare 650 CO2 inside the room, help). I got CO2 meter.
#2 i use Vertex Libra i dose Kalkawaser at night ( Low PH) by using Kalka Stirr Deltec ( dose ONLY clear water to my 90 Gal. refuge).
# 3 i use one Ehim Pump ( 900 Gal.) take water from bottom push up to overflow , release CO2 from tank.
#4 Same Doser ( Vertex Libra) dose small amount of carbonate ( Home made , Arm strong Baking Soda) to maintain my Alk. i try NOT to introduce to much CO2 from Calcium Reactor, also keep LOW Alk. ( 7.5 dKH max. 8) high Alk. wont support Bacteria well.
I maintain around 8.2 PH ( try to avoid Dino).
