I got SPS bugs! They look golden yellow under the light. Help please ...
Got a few new frags lately and dipped them but realized that the dipping solution was expired. One of my colonies started to bleach and saw those little buggers all over it. It is not an option to get my SPS colonies out of the tank as they are encrusted, is there a treatment I can do for the entire tank. Will it be safe for the fish and inverts and soft corals? I?m in Astoria, Queens.

your best bet naturally is to get a dragon faced pipefish, if they are red bugs he will eat them and also if you have the more rare tegastid species like acropora eating black bugs they will be a snack to him aswell. any of the black tegastid copepods will require a much stronger dosage (up to 4X the redbug dosage) and a 4-6 week followup treatment like clockwork to eliminate all new hatches.

skimmer off for 6-12 hours at the start of each treatment with carbon and gfo and filter socks pulled offline.
