someone has already claimed the chaeto and I don't think I have enough o spare quite yet on 2 tanks.
But in my 55G it grows rather quickly, so I could have some for you in a month or so.

BTW, i rinse my chaeto in fresh RODI water and I know many others that do that too. Not sure that was the cause. Could it have been bc it was cold water or not RODI? I don't rinse often with the pods and stuff, but I believe the buildup on detritus can slow the growth of the chaeto so I do from time to time.

I soaked it in fresh rodi water for about 10 minutes. I saw guy at Algae Barn at Reefapalooza and he said that would definitely nuke it - they experimented with the exact same thing to clean chaeto of pests and it causes cells to burst due to salinity difference. Perhaps a rinse won?t do what my soak did.

Gotcha yea, 10 min. Algaebarn advice sounds correct. I'll keep you updated on any extra I have

rinse , is good .
I see ( i got nice Scope) in dif. ppl. Dino
Dino love to hang in Chaetto and Algae Scrubber Filter, in special , low water flow.
Lots of guys got Dino, some never realize, depend of LOW maintenance, if snails die, corals, Dino explode.
