FYI, When Southdown was manufactured, they bagged them in 50# bags, not 20's. It's been a few years since SD was sold to Old Castle and then Yardright. I don't think any of those three companies are bagging sand anymore. There are alternatives though.
My primary weapon was epee, but I also competed in sabre. During highschool I fenced at the 92 Junior Olympics, and then fenced a very little while I college. The only competion I fenced in was the Temple Open during my freshman year.
Thanks for the post. I made it to the NCAA tournament two years in a row only to be beaten badly by Michael Lofton one of the best sabre fencers from the US. BTW Peter Westbrook (Olympic bronze medalist) was an alumnus of my high school.
I used to go the Fencer's club off an on in high school and college but since college I completely dropped the sport.
