WTB: 12g nanocube light

hey guys i decided to keep all my zoos until i leave. i set up everything in a 12g nanocube i had laying around(thanks froggie)

anyone have a pc or t5 or even LED fixture that will go on top of a 12g nano cube. i was planning on putting my 250 mh over it. i know :bigeyes: but the temp is @ 81 w/ just the remora and a itty bitty powerhead(if you can call it that)

the outer dimensions of the top rim is 14", the inner dimension is 12"

if you wanted something that looks like the stock hood, these guys sell the stock hood modded with everything up to MH. a bit pricey though

Jon contact nanotuners sometimes they have stock lights for sale w/o mods.

i forgot to mention current's sunpod. that seems to be one of the better choices for MH for nano tanks. chief, thats what you're running, right?

150W 20" sunpod on the 24 pod, I think the 70W sonpod fits the 12 nano not too sure tho.

they have a 16.5" or a 16" (depending on the advertiser) 70w MH that fits the 12 gallon model. they make a 70w version that is 20" too

Sunpod is a light with legs, no hood. My 24 is open top with the light over it.

Hey Jon they have an RC special from Dr F&S on a new Nanocube for 89.99. You could try calling them as well and see if they have a hood only they could sell you.

Jon, Somehow I knew you not going to leave that simple and as a fact you have decided to keep a 12g nanocube. You love this hobby to much.

I have the stock hood for the nano cube 12 dx just lying around...the only thing is i do not have bulbs for it...it comes with the original balast and everything..just does not have the front lid for it...send pm if interested...

lambda what do you mean no front lid? any pics? how many bulbs can i fit in it? total watts? sorry for all the questions @ once.

i see chief. i would like to add a clown since i have a gbta in the tank. i wonder if he would jump out w/ no lid on the tank
