any1 know where's a good source for getting a maxijet 1200 MOD? i've heard it's great for increasing flow like a seio but not as big n can be put on a wavemaker.

Tried it.. Doesn't do much...The water comes out of the extra holes and gives you the illusion of more flow because it's blowing out of those new holes..But feel free to try... I still can't get my other mod to do anything else but be a fan.... The propeller mod ...maybe my 1-3/4" diameter 1/8" hole is to heavy for mj 4,5,or 6...

You don't really need tools for the mjmod...except for a knife and probably a drill to make a hole for the stopper. Most people either have a drill, or you can easily find someone to drill a hole for you.
They produce a good amount of flow, but a little too strong for me, so I ended up using mine to mix saltwater
