You can make as much as you want & comes out way cheaper, if you get Kalkwasser or Pickling Lime.
Mix it with R/O water until it turns into a thick paste.
Same as Joe's Juice.

I know a few members here culture their own Phyto, so eventually they'll chime in.:)

Purple up is expensive. It's not cost effective to go that route.
Pickling lime is about $3 at a supermarket, so is Lemon Juice.

Boiling water just aggravates aiptasia for the moment, then they regenerate. Not effective in ridding them from a tank.

We can go on with different methods of aiptasia removal & he can search which works for different people.
I just gave an alternative to purchasing "Joe's Juice" with the same ingredient. Difference is about $3 for 1 pound jar opposed to $10 + for a thumb-sized bottle.
& it does work.

:)

Man Lambda. That's too much work.
Especially by the looks of his tank.

joes juice helped to double the size of the aptasia i used it on. Tje juice from a lemon in a needle, injected into the stem or center killed them instantly. You just need patience to get it in their. They fall right out of the rock and i take them out.
