I have a Velocity T4 sitting in the garage. Although I've owned it for about 3 years, it was only used for three months. When I first bought my house I setup my tank in the basement and had a remote sump in the garage. After three months I decided to move the tank upstairs into the living room and went with a sump under the tank. It was too much flow. I have to say that when I had the remote sump (total water volume was 125 gallon) I noticed no heat exchange from the pump but when I tried under the tank (90 gallon total volume) the heat did go up two degrees. BTW, it is a super quiet pump.
