Thanks Jim,
I have not started to set up the 90 yet. Not enough time, or should I say not enough . I bought a couple of new things as well that I have been waiting for as well. Maybe I can get started next weeekend. I will post some pictures once it is all set.

wow, that one on the bottom sounds good! It's the same link most people post up when someone asks about the individual shut offs. It seems the diff. is that this one for 14.99 has only 4 controlls as opposed to 8...$5 shipping not bad.

I'm going to think about it, check out some of the threads I've seen on RC with these (and watch for posts here), then prob. get it. I've been wanting one for a while.

I'd only get the controller for things I know I may want to shut off.
I would have one timer/powercenter plugged into it (that powercenter would hold plugs for all my lights and I would have control over the entire thing),
I would have 1 outlet for my 1 powerhead,
1 outlet for my skimmer,
and one power head for a power strip/extension cord or something that will hold 2-3 low wattage misc. items (heater, powerhead I didn't plan on using, phosban reactor)

Dunno, on my tank right now, there is so little I actually need the added convienence for. That's why I would get the 4 switch over the 8. It's just a difference of $10- $15, but that matters to me since I'm starting this tank from scratch and watching the fundage dwindle.
(8 switch is $24-29.99, plus 5.99 s/h or such for ground sh)

I guess it depends on what you have to plug in. If it's a worry, the 8 socket is still not bad :)
