That is your total volume of water ? Also need to know How many degrees you need to pull down your tank ? Do you need a controller ? If so single or duel stage ?

i just got a jbj 28 gallon nano. the light fixture is 150 watts, i know its going to heat up real quick. i want to keep the tank steady at 79 degrees.

controller? duel stage single stage? i honestly do not know wha any of these are nor know to use them. i have never owned a chiller before so this will be my first. i guess what ever i need to keep my jbj at 79 degrees, and ill be happy.

I would love to sell you a chiller but you may be able to take care of the problem with a fan. :splitspin Have you tried this ? So it is relatively new ? what are the temperature swings you are experiencing ?

bump? fan doesnt work all the time...i get a huge swing, sometimes 76 when i wake up, to 82ish when i get home from work, with no lights on..with lights on, i get up to 84..when the fan is on and the lights are on, sometimes it stays at 80, sometimes it stays at 82-84..its really starting to get me worried..def would like a 1/15
