Be aware, the reason you most likely changed out the bulb you have is because its useful life expired. If this is the case, then the spectrum has shifted to a wavelength that will be different than a new bulb installed into your system. So using an expired bulb to determine if you like the qualities of that brand, wattage, wavelength might not be the most accurate test.
