Phosban reactor???

I am going to be setting up 2 TLF reactors. I have a question.
1) Can I daisy chain them and run them off one pump?. And if so. What size pump should I use?
I will be using one for Phos. and One for carbon, in that order I think:scratchch
Also I need to Purchase Them.
So hit me vendors$$$

Check out the BRS reactors about 40 bucks a piece and i daisy chained them too, i have a manifold with 3/4 output with a valve on it reduced it to the 1/2 fitting it uses, each reactor has it own valve, i used those slip fittiings that it came with i dont know what you call em they use hard plastic piping you just slide em in and the seal themselves, you can buy the male threaded part and connect it to the manifold and the other end has the 1/2" slip on fitting. so far no leaks and clean looking, check em out in my gallery they r on the right hand side of my sump, if you need close ups pm and i'll send em.

Well, the phosban or any other good phosphate removing medium should have a pump that pushes only about 90 to 105 or so gph through. The idea is to have the medium gently rise off the bottom of the reactor. On the other hand, the carbon can be pushed harder (more vigorously) so while there may be a way to link them, I think you'd be better off just using a dedicated small pump for each. I do it that way and it also makes changing the mediums more convenient because they aren't necessarily changed at the same time.

Hey Chem, we've got the TLF Phosban Reactors in stock. Many people daisy chain the reactors to perform exactly as you've described. As a matter of fact, a step up in build quality is the NextReef Reactor that incorporates two chambers into one reactor as you can see here on the NextReef MR1 Monster. Truth be told, the two TLF reactors will do the same thing at a fraction of the cost.

I think you can get away with a Minijet 404 or Minijet 606 to feed the daisy chained reactors just fine.
