you know that they really dont eat aptasia unless they are starving right? other than that they are useless. if you have aptasia just mix kalkwasser with ro and use a seringe to feed it to the aptasia and they will disinagrate before your eyes. just letting you know in case you were going to waste ur money for that purpose. if you just like them ocean gallery 2 sells them for cheap

well actually i have to disagree with you cause previously i had lots of aptasia and i had two of them and they completely wiped out all aptasia from my tank and also i know that kwalk is better but what if you cannot reach? Kwalk is not always the solution.

I agree 100%, I had 100s, if not 1000s in my 130g, tried joes juice, kalk, boiling water (out of tank), wasted hours, every Sunday for weeks...bought 50 pep. shrimp from Reeftopia (about $100/free shipping) havent seen aptasia in almost 2 years, at least 10-20 shrimp still alive.

they do eat aiptasia. Mine even tried to eat my RBTA and paid the price!

A few drops of lemon juice in a syringe stick the aptasia and inject the lemon juice in the mothersucka.....much cheaper if $$$$ is a issue....but then again this is coming from a newbie lol....

the downside to peppermints is that they are by far the greediest bastards i've ever seen. Won't hesitate to pick food out of all your corals until there's no food left in sight. Or else give him a fat piece of squid (hard to chew) to shut it up while you go about your feedings.
