Great color and beautiful pop. I don't know about the ones you linked to in ebay, but experience has always shown me that you normally get what you pay for.

I used similar LED's and they only last about 3 months.. I guess you get what you pay for.. Only I paid a lot more for them:fishhit::fishhit::banghead::banghead:

Just wanted to see what it does to my tank, at night. Not ready to plunk down $600 for Wingo's led yet.

Then for the price, you REALLY should consider the PowerBrites. I've been in the hobby for close to 10 years now. Like most hobbyists, my interest in my own tank has its peaks and valleys. After I added these LED's to my tank, my interest was not only renewed, but it peaked like never before. The colors it brought out in the critters was absofreakinlutely amazing. As stated, for the price they're unbelievable.

Each PowerBrite strip comes with 4 LED's. The strips are the exact same for the master unit and the linking unit. The only difference in the box is the power supply. Each power supply can drive three total strips (initial strip + 2 links).

Three across a four foot tank is cool for the front viewing. I run six on my 75g which is a bit overkill, but I like it. On your 6' x 4.5' foot it is very difficult to lay out without seeing the aquascape and tank design. I believe you're talking about your 'piano' tank? I would run 6 along the front + 4 along each side. Depending upon the main lighting above, the aquascaping below I'd also add some in the middle.

Like I said, without a blueprint of the tank it's tough to say at random.
However, I'm sure what I suggested is very close.
