LTB 500-700gph pump

Need a pump to run my chiller that will give me between 500-700 gph after 3 feet of head loss. A mag 7 would be great.

sorry dude mag 7 = 700gph
ehiem 1260 = 635gph...... both r great pumps but the gph rating is diff.

i would hardly call that a significant difference in gph. and i think most people woudl think that they are very similar pumps. plus you should look at what they both push at 3 feet of head height to make the decision...

I would say it depends what you are using it for. as for on my brothers tank he had a maxijet 1200 on his aqua c remora...it pushes 295gph we just switched to a mag 3 300gph pump.... Huge difference in the skimmer...

like i mentioned before both are great pumps... but there is a slight difference.

the difference there is also mostly due to the pressure rating of the pump, ie how well the maxijet can push water through a tube vs. a mag 3 i think.
