Exactly like Nyreefnoob said! Although, I have not had them I have done a lot of research on them. You are better off getting something along the reidi lines. The size of the tank is right for the dwarfs but their very delicate and require specialized feeding. I am hoping to order a pair or group of 4 reidis around September.
I have had them and you have to have newly hatched brine shrimp all the time. Brine shrimp lose all their nutrition within 6-8 hours. There are a number of places to buy them reasonable. There is one in the NY area. Their lifespan is short, year and a half. They have lots of babies but it is hard to grow them to adult size.
Thanks for your input guys, sorry to get back to this so late, i havent been on MR much. I'm still contemplating the Challenge of the Dwarf Seahorses. Might try and build a small sump for the 12g first before i try anything.
