Do you really want the 50/50 pc bulbs? Most people use the metal halide bulbs for their daylight (10k-14k) bulb, and use the pc bulbs for their actinic (sunrise/sunset) bulb.

There really is no right or wrong way to do it. It's basically your personal preference.

I only use the phoenix bulb and the color of my tank along with my t5's is great. do not have the massive amount of blue but what a look the phoenix gives off.
