your gonna need telphone line, a couple RJ-10 and a crip tool. Dont know if you ever made a telphone line or ethernet cable but its the same way. Difference is you want the pins to be straight through. Or your best bet if you dont already have any of these items it will be cheaper to find the cable. I already have everything because i am constenly making up cables. Hope this helps.

I doubt very much there carry them has to be pinned out correctly or you can cause damage to the head unit. Its not you standard phone cable.

Ive crimped many cat 5 cables in my day for computer. So there are 4 cables and should be layed out the exact same way on either side? So for eaxample, red white blue green on the head on my left hand and red white blue green on the head on my right hand?

Correct but if i am not mistaken it should be 6 cables.

Correct. 6 pin straight through RJ12.

Went to radioShack. All they had was rj25. I looked it up. It ses rj25 and rj12 is the same only rj25 is stranded wire. What ever thats means. I connected it 6 wires straight through. Works flawlessly! Thanks guys!
