Astrea snails that i've gotten from anywhere else have never worked. For some reason for me only the astrea's from sealife. Mexican turbos' are too big and sea hares after the hair algae is gone need to find a new tank. I'll probably be ordering from them again soon if you are intersted.

Sea Hares are awesome algae eaters but get sucked up into intakes of all kinds really fast and easy even if you have the normal type grating over them. I had a grate over my Mag 24 but my Hare was sucked up and made into salad in 2 days. In the 2 days I had him he ate more hair algae then all of my turbos and hermits combined. I have since made a new diy grate out of a plastic bottle with small holes drilled in it. Tomorrow I am going in search of a new Hare. I got mine last week from Reefs To Reptiles in Asbury Park, NJ. He has a deal where you pay 20 bucks for hares and when you want to return him he will give you 10 dollar credit. I'm hoping he still has some left tomorrow.
