I have the older version of the 12 gal jbl nano cube. The ballast needs to be replaced - (we have a 4 pin double bulb with a blue & white light) - any suggestions where I can find a cheap replacement ballast?

Its a compact fluorescent bulb with "10,000K daylight and blue actinic blue lamp" is all that the box says. I says it is a linear pin configuration.

Does that answer your question?

This happened to me not too long ago on my 12g jbj dx. I had to order a similar brand and model from another company which specialized in lighting, I believe the ballast brand is PONY. I'll try to find that site for you.

The dx uses 4-pin linear configuration PC bulbs. It holds 2 24-watt bulbs right now.

Edit: I found the site, here's the link to that specific model: http://www.elightbulbs.com/Fulham-10303-NPY-120-226-CFL-Pony-Ballast
The company is actually Fulham, Pony Ballast NPY-120-226-CFL

Disclaimer, please know what you're doing and be careful if you're going to do this.
Good Luck :)
