Starfire tank

Looking to buy a 120 gal starfire reef ready tank, is the clarity that "amazing" ?
ANY INPUT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED

no it isnt that much different on most companies tanks, glasscages tanks yes it is, their regular glass has a green tint to it. and they dont use that great of starfire glass, just low iron

I think good lighting and starfire glass make a fish tank look like it's in HD. Scratches very easily though.

I would not use glasscages.com, they do a cheap job which sometimes creates big problems. If you search MR.com for the name you will see some horror stories! INNEED is new to the hobby and thinks he knows alot, which is a very dangerous combination, do not listen to anything he says. I have no personal experience with glasscages, but have heard they do a very sloppy job on silicone, have terrible customer service, and often make mistakes in bulkhead placement (which they will not fix for you) They are the cheapest for a reason!

I love starphire, especially on a 120 b/c the glass is at least .5" thick and the low iron starphire makes a nice difference. It does scratch easier than normal glass as it is softer (b/c of the lower amount of iron)

Once your pushing past 3/8" glass starfire really makes a difference if you can spend the cash.

I own a glasscages tank and it's sloppy but nothing you couldn't clean up yourself. I didn't order through them. I purchased it from
Someone who ordered it. It isn't starfire

I will admit it has a green tint unfilled but filled it looks great and with good lighting you would be more than happy

I had an AO tank, and when I eventually go back to a large tank I will be ordering from miracles aquarium. Those tanks are insane.
