doubt it.... probably quicker to buy it new than it is hoping that someone will end up having one that they are looking to sell so quickly.

I agree and they are not that expensive to begin with. Just buy it from Russ and call it a day. It'll be new with warranty and you get it in 1 day..can't go wrong.

yea I know I was going to take one from russ but the sale ended the day I wanted it and it has to be ordered as they dont stock it. now the price went up also the warranty doesnt matter as im going to cut the fixture in half. I know that they resell for alot less so was and am looking for a fixture. I wouldve bought it that day from russ but the sale was up and he doesnt carry it also ordering it always bothers me. whether it be car parts or anything Its like what do I need the middleman for if they have to order it anyways. I could just order it directly.

That's some interesting logic... however it is flawed. Unless Marineland is selling direct to the public through their website (which IIRC they do not) you are always working with a middle man. But if you go to the supermarket you are dealing with a middleman. Buying a car the same thing. Clothes etc.

yea but what i mean is if i go to the grocery store and dealing with the middleman the product is there. Not going to go there to order it I could do that online and have it shipped directly.

Ask if they can assist you with pricing. SWC does also have a layaway plan.
I know Jim from SWC... never had the chance to meet Russ but I'm sure he is just as good of a person to deal with.

The fact of the matter is, Richie is a very patient guy who will wait until he gets the used fixture he's looking for.

yes i remember you telling me they were coming in but im looking for a double bright 36-48 to cut in half remember. Im not worried about a layaway plan because i have the money for it. Just not looking to spend the top dollar price when it could be had for alot less . especially when i think there will be even more of a price drop in the future on these since the reef capables came out and will probably price drop. so far online the same unit's price ranges close to 70% of the price
